Studying abroad in Ireland (FISP 2013) with Vance and Tammi Maloney was life-changing and was the perfect start to my Taylor career. Even when we came back, the family we had found over there continued on at Taylor with weekly family dinners. Taylor gave me memories and friends that I now are for life. Even today, the 2013 FISPers meet up fairly frequently and spend weekends together playing cards, remembering our time in Ireland and at Taylor, and sharing in (un)intentional community with each other.
My English professors were also extremely impactful on my time at Taylor, guiding me when I was overwhelmed or unsure of what to do with myself after Taylor. I’m still in touch with many of them and their words, advice, and influence on me are still having an impact on my decisions today.
