I have so many memories of Taylor and the “fun” that we had to create being out in the middle of a cornfield in the 1970’s. From the Used Car lot that was created one night using white shoe polish to put a sale price on the windshield of most cars parked in the East and Wengatz dorm parking lots. The many Hide and Go Seek games which took place at the Ayres Library was about to close for the evening, in the basement stacks!! The many rides on campus with the bikes that were left from former students in the bike racks, many rides did take place inside the dorms during Open House. The dinners where we “dressed” up for the dining commons after finding all abandoned dresses up in the attic of our dorm. The night we took all flushers off the toilets on the 3rd floor of East Hall, and removed the dividers in the bathrooms. The picture I included showed just part of the squirt gun fight which started at dinner with a few bringing them and squirting people under the table at dinner and continued to involve cars around the “Loop”. Oh, the fun we had which established life long friendship with people ! Taylor people who we have prayed with/supported/cried with/ laughed with and Loved for over 45 years!!! Taylor University was about Relationships, I know, I met my husband there.!!
